  • What is a Product Protection Plan?
    Product Protection Plan, also commonly referred to as Extended Warranty, Extended Service Plan (ESP), Extended Service Contract (ESC) etc., is a Service Agreement which transfers financial risk related to product failure from its buyer to its provider. . Basically, a Product Protection Plan extends the term, enhances the coverage and improves the services provided by the manufacturer’s warranty on the product.

  • What are the top reasons a claim is denied?
    1. Unauthorized personnel attempted to repair the product. 2. Product is repaired prior to receiving authorization from us. 3. Required documents are not provided. 4. A claim is filed after more than 48 hours from product failure date. 5. Reason for product failure is excluded from the coverage. 6. Negligence and Intentional act. 7. Claim not filed within 48 hours of incident. 8. Cannot Recollect. 9. Thrown in fit of Anger, Damage by child/kids. 10. Pickpocket. 11. Forgot in Public Transport like Bus, Train, Auto, Taxi etc… 12. Forgot in Public place like Garden, Events, Movie Theater, Function, Hotel & Restaurant etc… 13. Use during Adventure Sports/ Water Sports, Amusement Park/Water Park. 14. Mysterious Missing, Phone/Device kept Unattended in Public Place. 15. Covered member should not be Mino. 16. Involvement in illegal activity. 17. If Product/Device is not in hand or custody of Original Owner during the Incident. IMPORTANT: It is mandatory that the customer registers claims, in case where the claim is registered by someone else the claim will get rejected In case of second claim of theft, the customer will have to submit lost and found report. In case of accident and the insured party is riding/driving the claimant has to submit driving license as part of documentation Claim verification call from surveyor needs to be attended by the Insured party Please take out time and fill details carefully, if details are incorrect it will lead to rejection Stock purchased from one retailer and claims coming from another retailer will not be processed further In case of Theft only forceful act is Covered.
  • How long after my product purchase date can I purchase a Product Protection Plan from PROINDEM?
    To avail Theft/Lost/Replacement of 100% Demage/Non repairable device benifits One must buy and Register/Activate Product Protection plan within 7 days of product purchase. Or else One can opt. our Service any time within 9 months of Product Purchased as well product must be under valid manufacturer warranty and enjoy unlimited repairs. 100% authentic spare-parts and labour covered.
  • What products PROINDEM offers Product Protection Plans on?
    PROINDEM offers Product Protection Plans on mobile phones, consumer electronics and appliances, Laptops & Desktops. On New or Old devices (old Devices coverage is subject to satisfactory inspection of our service engineer). Product Protection Plans cover products used in consumer use only. The Product Protection Plans do not cover the products and/or components that require continuous business and/or commercial operation, or are used for commercial, industrial, educational or public use purposes or offered on a rental basis
  • Why do I need to buy a Product Protection Plan offered only by PROINDEM?
    Because Product Protection Plans provided by PROINDEM not only extend the term length of manufacturer’s warranty but also enhance the coverage and services provided during the extended period. With Product Protection Plan provided by PROINDEM; • One can Cover New as well Old Products under PROINDEM Product Protection Plan. (Old Devices coverage is subject to satisfactory inspection of our service engineer). • You can extend the term of your coverage for up to additional 3 years. • Your product is covered not just for defects in material and workmanship but also for mechanical and electrical failure, normal wear and tear, and environmental factors such as heat, dust and humidity. • You are entitled to UNLIMITED repairs during the Product Protection Plan period. Every time your product fails, contact us and we will repair it or replace it. • Your larger non-portable products are repaired in the convenience of your home. Your smaller portable products are repaired at an authorized service center near you. • Claim filing is easy, convenient, and takes less than 10 minutes. • 24/7 customer support to file a claim at your convenience. • Your Product Protection Plan is transferable to subsequent users/owners and may qualify for renewal.
  • Can’t I get this type of Product Protection Plan from the manufacturer of the product?
    Many manufacturers offer Protection Plans on their own products but they are usually 50% more expensive on average than PROINDEM, limited in their coverage, inferior in their service, and can be bought only at very limited locations.
  • Why do I need to buy a Product Protection Plan?
    Manufacturers provide warranty on their products for a very limited period of time. After that period is expired, you are at risk of spending thousands if your product fails and needs repair or replacement. With a Product Protection Plan, you can extend the length of warranty to the term of your choosing and protect yourself from spending thousands in the event your product fails.
  • Is Product Protection Plan same as Insurance?
    The primary goal of both Insurance Policy and Product Protection Plan is to transfer financial risk related to a product failure from its buyer to its provider. However, Insurance Regulatory Department of India (IRDA) does not recognize Product Protection Plan or Extended Warranty as insurance. If you buy and activate/register our Product Protection Plan within 15 Days of New product purchase we Insure your product with Insurance Plan under Theft/Lost/Reimbursement of Non Repairable/100% demage product.
  • When and How should I file a claim?
    File a claim as soon as your product stops working. You have maximum of 48 hours from the date of product failure to file a claim. Claims filed after 48 hours may be denied. Claim for Theft/Lost/Replacement/Reimbursement of 100% demage/non repairable device claim are processed by Insurance company at their sole discretion.
  • What does the In-Home Repair Service include?
    Exactly that! The in-home service means a qualified technician will repair the product in your home. It is your responsibility, however, to allow the repair technician proper access to your product so the repair can be performed safely and conveniently. For example, you will need to un-install, then re-install your TV if it’s mounted on your wall. ​
  • What happens once my product is repaired?
    You get back to enjoying your product without paying anything. If it fails again, you follow the same claim process and your product will be repaired again.
  • What happens if my product cannot be repaired?
    In that case, you will receive a replacement product of like, kind and quality. Alternatively, we may reimburse you to buy a replacement product yourself. Its totally depends upon at our/ Insurance Company Sole descrition only. and not part of 100% gauranteed service.
  • Is the Product Protection Plan transferable and renewable?
    The Product Protection Plan is transferable for a nominal fee and is renewable at our discretion.
  • What if my product fails while I am overseas with my product?
    Please visit File a Claim. We will give you a shipping address where you will need to ship your product. We will repair or replace your product and ship it back to you at the location of your choice.
